What We Need Before Quotation

An accurate OEM quotation starts with a clear technical specification. Please provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • Product name or existing model
  • Application
  • Destination country or target market
  • Required standard or project specification
  • Electrical class, voltage range, fault-current requirement, or other relevant rating
  • Dimensions and material requirements
  • Estimated quantity
  • Existing sample, drawing, datasheet, or reference specification
  • Logo and product-marking requirements
  • Packaging requirements
  • Required test or inspection documents

If some information is not yet available, send us the application and existing specification first. We can identify the items that need to be confirmed before quotation.

How Our OEM Process Works

Step 1 — Send Your Requirements

Send us the product, application, technical specification, target market, quantity, and customization requirements.

Step 2 — Technical Review

We review the requested dimensions, materials, electrical parameters, components, applicable standards, testing needs, and manufacturing feasibility.

Step 3 — Specification & Quotation

After the main technical requirements are clarified, we prepare the product configuration and commercial quotation.

Step 4 — Sample or Pre-Production Approval

Depending on the product, approval may be based on a drawing, specification sheet, existing sample, prototype, packaging artwork, or pre-production sample.

Step 5 — Production & Inspection

Mass production follows the approved specification. Agreed dimensional, electrical, configuration, marking, and packaging checks are completed according to the order requirements.

Step 6 — Documentation & Shipment

Required labels, packing information, available test documents, inspection records, and export packaging are prepared before shipment.

Sample & Pre-Production Approval

Sample requirements depend on the product and customization scope.

For some products, an existing specification or drawing may be sufficient for approval. For products involving new tooling, structural changes, special markings, or customized packaging, a sample or pre-production confirmation may be recommended before mass production.

Sample availability, cost, testing scope, and lead time are confirmed separately.

MOQ & Production Quantity

MOQ depends on the product, customization level, tooling requirement, material, printed packaging, and testing scope.

Standard configurations may support a lower trial quantity, while new molds, special materials, customized cartons, dedicated markings, or project-specific testing may require a higher production quantity.

Send us the estimated order quantity together with your specification so we can confirm the appropriate production arrangement.

What Affects OEM Lead Time?

OEM lead time depends on the selected product and approval process.

  • Technical specification complexity
  • New mold or tooling
  • Special materials
  • Sample approval
  • Custom printing and packaging
  • Required testing or third-party inspection
  • Order quantity

Production lead time is confirmed after the specification, sample requirements, testing scope, and packaging details are agreed.

Standards, Testing & Documentation

Applicable standards and test requirements depend on the product, model, specification, and target market.

For example, IEC 61111 applies to electrical insulating matting, IEC 60903 applies to electrical insulating gloves and mitts, and IEC 61230 applies to portable equipment for temporary earthing or earthing and short-circuiting.

We do not treat IEC, ASTM, EN, or CE as universal approvals covering every JINPOWER product.

Documents That Can Be Confirmed for an OEM Order

  • Technical datasheet
  • Approved specification sheet
  • Product drawing, where applicable
  • Product marking layout
  • Packaging artwork
  • Inspection record
  • Applicable product test report
  • Batch identification
  • User instructions, where applicable
  • Certificate copies, where applicable
  • Packing specification

Document availability depends on the product, existing test evidence, required testing scope, target market, and order requirements.

Customization Has Technical Boundaries

OEM customization must not compromise the electrical, mechanical, or functional requirements of the product.

Changes to material, thickness, conductor section, electrical rating, voltage range, component configuration, or critical dimensions may require additional engineering review or testing.

Cosmetic requirements such as logo, color, labels, or packaging must also remain compatible with required safety markings and product identification.

Insulating Mats

Changing material or thickness may affect electrical performance and test requirements.

Earthing Equipment

Changing conductor section, clamp type, or configuration may affect the required fault-current performance.

Voltage Detectors

Changing voltage range or detection arrangement may require technical verification.

PPE

Branding must not interfere with required ratings, markings, or critical protective features.

Private Label, Marking & Packaging

For distributors and electrical safety brands, OEM supply can include product identification and packaging customization according to the confirmed product and order quantity.

Product Logo

Laser marking, printing, label, or other suitable method depending on product.

Product Label

Model, specification, rating, batch information, warning text, or other required content.

Multilingual Information

Product labels, manuals, or packaging can be prepared in required languages where applicable.

Retail or Industrial Packaging

Cartons, bags, cases, pallets, export packaging, and private-label presentation.

Barcode & Shipping Marks

Customer barcode, carton marking, order number, and project identification where required.

Packaging artwork should be approved before mass production.
